Our Committee

Chair

I’m Bob Johnston, the club’s chairman. I joined the committee in September 2018. My daughter has happily attended Kids Club’s breakfast and afternoon sessions since she started at Ecclesall in 2017.

I moved to Sheffield in 2004, and I currently research and teach archaeology at the University of Sheffield.

Treasurer

I’m Grazina Manchester. I have two children who regularly attend kids club and love the facilities it provides. I joined the committee in September 2018 when my youngest started in reception, and will be taking on the role of treasurer.

I have worked in financial services for around fifteen years, with the last ten years at Sheffield Hallam University, where I am an accountant.

Outside of school and work I love to explore the great Sheffield outdoors with my family, whether it’s on bikes or scrambling on rocks.

Secretary

I’m Amy White, the club secretary with a daughter in Year 1 and another daughter joining Reception from 24/25. We are enthusiastic Kid’s Club users and really appreciate the friendly wrap-around support our children receive in the familiar environment.

I work as a Programme Manager in a private educational organisation, working on strategic growth projects.

Other Members

Jill Dodd

I’m Jill Dodd and I have a son in Year 1 and another in secondary. I was a social worker in London and then worked for a large disability charity for 17 years managing community projects. My younger son has a disability and loves his time at Kids Club. I am passionate that children with disabilities are included and made welcome. I spend a lot of time managing my son’s care but when there is free time, you will find me walking in the Peaks.

Nicola Miles

I’m Nicola Miles. I have a daughter in year 2 and a son in year 5. We’ve been using the club since my oldest child was in reception and it’s provided us with a great childcare setting for them both. I joined the committee in January 2024. It’s a great way to be involved in the school community.

My day job is HR Business Partner, most recently in the NHS

Tassie Daniels

I’m Tassie Daniels, I joined the committee early this year. My son is currently in Y1 and we use kids club throughout the week. It’s a nice way to be involved with an essentially part of the school community.

I have lived in Sheffield all my life and attended Ecclesall myself as a child. I work in finance.

Charlotte Geesin

My name is Charlotte Geesin and I joined the Committee in 2024.Our daughter really enjoys Kid’s Club and has made lots of new friends from across all of the year groups since joining!

I am a solicitor and I also lecture at postgraduate level.
